Flourishing: A Panel Conversation on Health Professionals Who Recommend OM

Join us Monday, May 25th at 3pm ET / 12pm PT for a panel conversation featuring clinicians who have observed and recommend the practice to their patients.

Orgasmic Meditation involves one person gently stroking the clitoris of the other person for 15 minutes while both place their attention on the point of contact and notice what they feel. In this way, they can harness sexual energies towards meditation, allowing access to mental and physiological states from which healing occurs.

"How can we break the silence that we've lived through the past centuries? [Sexuality] was something that we never were able to talk about… you're learning not only to just talk about it, you've learned that it's an important part of our lives. It's an important part of our consciousness. It makes us all better, makes us do things better, think better." —Former Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders

Physicians have seen OM improve such issues as depression, PTSD, erectile dysfunction, vaginismus, low sex drive, connection among partners, stress and more.

Here are a few snippets of what the experts have said.

"After a year of bringing people into our lab to perform the OM practice, I finally had the opportunity to sit down with the data. We saw decreases in frontal lobe activity, associated with a sense of letting go or release. Another area was the anterior cingulate gyrus…supporting how OM…can be useful in helping people regulate their emotions. Decreased parietal lobe activity is consistent with their feeling of oneness and connectedness with each other and the world."

Andrew Newberg, Director, Marcus Institute of Integrative Health

"As a physician, I see many patients and therefore I get to see the bigger picture of the ill effects of chronic stress, sedentary habits, addictions, isolation, poverty, poor diets and the common belief that somehow every individual person seems to think they are doing it all wrong and to themselves. They can't find their way out of this dilemma because they are unplugged. What are the health benefits of Orgasmic Meditation? Ask me what are the health benefits of community and connection and intimacy and love and honesty and being connected to your body and relaxation and hormone balancing and sleep."

Teresa Diaz, OBGYN, Family Care Physician

"Ah! Combining meditative awareness with sexual pleasure! What could be better — or more life-enhancing than this?" Christine Northrop, OB/GYN, Author "Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom"

Come hear live as a panel of clinicians speak about their experience with recommending OM as a remedy for patients under their care.
