Parenting with Eros principles offers to bring play and liveliness to our interactions with our children and creates a world where social norms are liberated, and a foundation of resilience is born. In our talks we will share our parenting journeys through a playful exploration of the 4 Eros pillars. How our wins, and our not-so-great bumbles, created intimate, resilient and connected relationships with our kids.
Week 1
Translating Eros principle into parenting
v Discuss our experiences of cultural and societal norms and how the Eros principles helped write a new narrative
Being a parent on a path of liberation
v Discuss how our roles as parents molded our interpretation of Eros principles
Week 2
Creating a new language with our kids
v How we introduced new concepts to our kids outside of the societal narratives and how that impacted the way they related with us, extended family, their friends, and live as a whole
Week 3 & 4
Applying the 4 pillars of Eros to parenting
1. Connection: Play is at the foundation our relationships with our kids.
2. Liberation: Guiding our kids on how to digest their experiences
3. Restoration: A child’s version of addiction and loss and the foundation of laying down fundamental tracts of resilience and approval.
4. Justice: Guiding children towards authentic power, with practices to emptying what is full in order to fill what is empty.
