Life Is Play with Reese Jones

Play is our most natural way of being in the world, an inherent drive that pulls us toward the edge of what we know. In those first formative experiences, it was through play that we learned the contours of our environment, how to relate to others, and ultimately, how to discover ourselves. In play, the world became animated, every interaction an invitation to engage more deeply, to express more fully. It offered us something beyond mere participation—it was a celebration of agency. Play allows us to step outside the rigid structures of daily life and into a realm of choice, where every move is an exploration of possibility. It’s in that space where we come to life, where the sheer act of playing draws us into a fuller expression of ourselves, without concern for the outcome, but for the joy of the moment itself.

This month in OneTaste Art School, we’re bringing the theme of play to the forefront. We’ve invited Reese Jones to share his unique perspective in a talk centered on the role of play in unlocking new dimensions of life and creativity. Reese understands play as more than just a pastime—it’s a way of engaging with the world, of encountering possibility in every moment, every interaction. We’re excited to open this talk up to the wider community, offering a glimpse into our exploration of erotic artistry through the lens of play. Join us as we delve into how play challenges and frees us, bringing us deeper into our own experience and our creative potential.
