Erotic Justice Panel | Erotic Justice and the Notion of Self-Realization

Join us for an illuminating panel discussion on "Erotic Justice and the Notion of Self-Realization.” In a world where social justice activism often leads to exhaustion and disillusionment, our esteemed panelists will explore the concept of true erotic justice as a path of self-offering and self-discovery. We'll delve into the idea that the greatest realization one can bring to the world is self-realization in the context of non-duality.

Our panelists bring a wealth of diverse perspectives and expertise to the discussion:

Ira Silverberg, facilitator, is a luminary in the world of literature and publishing, has dedicated his career to amplifying marginalized voices, making him a compelling voice in the exploration of erotic justice.

AshEL Eldridge, with his deep connection to ancestral healing traditions and commitment to social and environmental justice, will share insights into how self-realization can be intertwined with activism and spiritual practices.

Xochitl Bernadette Moreno, a skilled ceremonialist and practitioner of the healing arts, will contribute her unique perspective on holistic balance and healing in the context of self-realization.

Courtney Walker, a writer and advocate for Black culture, will shed light on the intersection of self-realization and cultural identity, particularly within the Black community.

Omari West, a writer and business consultant with a balanced analytical and intuitive approach, will provide insights into the harmonious integration of self-realization and professional life.

Marcus Ratnathicam, spokesperson for The Prison Monastery Program, a project under the non-profit Unconditional Freedom, will discuss the concept that there is no "other"; instead, the process of healing oneself is intricately connected to the healing of those we may perceive as different.

Together, our panelists will guide us through a thought-provoking exploration of how self-realization and non-duality can lead to a deeper understanding of justice, personal growth, and societal transformation. Join us for a transformative conversation that transcends boundaries and invites us to embrace a more profound sense of self and purpose.

About the Instructors

Xochitl Bernadette Moreno
As a dedicated activist and media creator, I pour my heart into co-hosting and producing KPFA Radio's "La Onda Bajita." Additionally, I co-founded and co-direct Essential Food and Medicine, an organization close to my heart. Through this initiative, we strive to re-indigenize our community's connection to land, food, and medicine, focusing on serving houseless individuals, indigenous communities, and formerly incarcerated individuals. Drawing from my ancestral Mexican/Australian heritage and the diverse traditions I've encountered, I practice as a ceremonialist and healing arts practitioner, weaving together music, clinical herbalism, bodywork, and curanderismo to promote holistic balance and well-being.
Courtney Walker
Courtney Walker is a writer and creative currently working on a book and daily broadcast about Black culture and the Erotic. She is a co-founding member and director of BlackBox. As a passionate advocate for the whole Black culture to remember and reclaim its inherent power, she speaks to the beauty and strength within the Black community, drawing inspiration from its rich history and complex narratives. She is also helping to launch the global movement of Women Over Dinner, aiming to bring greater connection amongst women to acknowledge and embrace their inestimable power.
Omari West
I'm a seasoned writer and business consultant, splitting my time between my writing career and running The Horus Group, a boutique consulting firm. With over two decades of experience as a ghostwriter and editor, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, including heads of state, congressional members, presidential candidates, and senior business executives. As a Washington, DC native, I attended Columbia University on a journalism scholarship from the Washington Post, which helped shape my career path.
Ira Silverberg
Throughout my decades-long career in literature and publishing, I have worked to give voice to marginalized communities. As the founder and publisher of High-Risk Books, I brought avant-garde literature to the forefront. I also published The Beatniks and Neil Strauss' international bestseller, The Game. Additionally, I served as an editor at Grove Press, a faculty member at Columbia University, and the director of the Literature Program at the National Endowment for the Arts.
AshEL Eldridge
I was born in Chicago and now living in Oakland. My heritage is a blend of West African and Blackfoot ancestry. I am deeply involved in various shamanic healing traditions, including Dagrara divination, Japanese spiritual purification, and Galactic Language Activation through Tian Gong. I founded Solestial Church, a community dedicated to re-indigenizing the future. Music is another passion of mine, expressed through projects like RebelWise, Sage & Cedar, and Dogon Lights. As Co-founder/Co-Director of Essential Food and Medicine, I work to connect communities with land and nature's healing power.
Marcus Ratnathicam
My journey began with a decade in the tech industry, where I had the privilege of serving in various roles that took me around the world. Yet, it was when I joined the advisory board of Unconditional Freedom that I discovered my true calling. Driven by a deep passion for sharing teachings critical to the advancement of human flourishing, I found immense fulfillment in this work. I am grateful to have played a role in completing and publishing "The Art of Soulmaking" and witnessing the remarkable expansion of our prison program.
