About OM1-03: Practice 1/2

Welcome to Practice 1/2, the third course in the OM 1 series. Now that you’ve learned how to OM, the Practice 1/2 Course introduces the philosophy behind the practice. This course shifts the focus from the mechanics of OM to some foundational ideas  such as ‘Begin as a Beginner,’ ‘The Ritual of the Container,’ and ‘OM Skills are Life Skills.’ 

In Module 1, ‘Begin as a Beginner,’ you will learn to let go of preconceived ideas about climax and take responsibility for your practice, boundaries, and desires. Next, in ‘The Ritual of the Container,’ you will learn to sink into the present moment, where all is well and there is nowhere to get to. In Module 3, ‘Just this Stroke,’ you will learn to relax and be with sensation, without pressure to achieve or get anywhere. Finally, in ‘OM skills Are Life Skills,’ you will discover how Orgasmic Meditation principles enhance your ability to be with more sensations, leading to real intimacy – in life and in OM.

The Practice 1/2 course is designed to enliven your OM practice and how you move through the world. This new perspective will enhance your experiences in OM and the broader landscape of your daily life.
