An erotically mature mind will enjoy the meeting of another at any level of pressure, distance, direction, and speed. The mature mind will enjoy seeking and finding in any realm, listening for what is required to maintain the connection at all costs. It will recognize the delight of being in both the same and different locations with equal attention.
In physical separation, the erotically mature mind will see it has that much more attention available to create with, in the name of the relationship. It will use distance as an honoring tool that asks to tend to the other with greater, not less, care. When the call to return to physical connection comes, because we have been using excess energy for creation rather than merely allowing it to build, we will have a pitch-perfect response, either to care for or share the joy of what was created when in separate physical locations.
All practice is for the phase transition. The transition of true love is the transition into the invisible, the only place where true union can happen. We look at whether we have developed enough trust to stay within the invisible, to get closer rather than further from it. To not reject the other and demand limited physical closeness and to take greater care of their heart, not less care, when they are not in our physical proximity.
We seek to answer to this relationship, with more and not less attention, when it is not keeping a physical eye on us. We do not allow the tumescent mind to extort by sabotaging things in order to force a return to the known physical. We use time, energy, and space to create more freedom for the other to thrive. To know that whether or not it is obvious, our every action still has impact.
When we are naturally called back to the physical, we return with deep care and don't hold out due to resentment the tumescent mind developed about not having its way.
We aim to see the call into the invisible as a signifier of how deep the work we did in the physical was; it is a reward to not overstay our time in the womb. We know we have built connection rather than comfort when we are so successful that we can meet in the realms without our bodies. Here, there is no distance at all.
